This Privacy Policy explains how Activera collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the Activera mobile app and website.
1. Who we are
Activera is operated by Harun Rahahla in the United Kingdom. For privacy questions, contact us at support@getactivera.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Activera, we may collect or store:
- Account information: email address, user ID, authentication information and account settings.
- Workout information: plans, selected exercises, workout sessions, sets, reps, weights, skipped exercises, rest times, workout dates and exercise history.
- Bodyweight information: bodyweight entries and dates if you choose to record them.
- Saved content: saved exercises, saved plans, custom plans and plan preferences.
- Subscription information: Premium entitlement status, product identifiers, purchase status and renewal information from Apple, Google and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full card details.
- Device and technical information: app version, device type, operating system, crash/debug information and basic diagnostics if enabled by the services we use.
- Support messages: information you send us when contacting support.
3. Fitness and health data
Activera stores fitness and bodyweight information you choose to enter. Activera does not collect medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, Apple Health data, Google Fit data, or other clinical health records unless this is added in the future and disclosed separately.
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use your workout data for third-party advertising.
4. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To save your workouts, plans, exercise history and bodyweight logs.
- To provide Premium access and subscription features.
- To show progress, recent workouts, exercise history and workout calendar features.
- To provide support and respond to your messages.
- To maintain security, fix bugs and improve app reliability.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, platform and app store obligations.
5. Legal bases for processing
If UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the app, account, workout tracking and Premium services you request.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain and improve the app, prevent misuse and provide support.
- Consent: where required for optional features or communications.
- Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information for legal, tax, platform or regulatory reasons.
6. Third-party services
Activera uses third-party services to operate the app:

7. Payment information
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your full card number, bank details or app store password. Apple or Google may process payment, tax, refund and subscription information under their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Data retention
We keep account and workout data while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise personal data unless we need to retain limited information for legal, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute or platform compliance reasons.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
10. Account deletion
You can request deletion of your Activera account by following the instructions on our Delete Account page or emailing support@getactivera.com from the email linked to your account.
11. Children
Activera is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, you should use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by our service providers.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
